Hamas diz ter chegado a acordo para se desarmar

Palestinian mourners attend the funeral of members of the Abu Sharia and al-Hasayna families, whose remains were recently recovered from the rubble of residential buildings in the al-Sabra neighbourhood which were struck by Israeli bombardments in November 2023, in Gaza City on August 4, 2026. Hundreds of people attended the funeral ceremony, where music played from speakers at a site where Israeli strikes in late 2023 killed the 112 people, including 44 children all belonging to the same extended family from under the rubble. An October ceasefire remains in place between Israel and Hamas, but it has not halted the violence in Gaza. Efforts to secure a lasting agreement to end the war have stalled.
