O número de mortos devido aos dois terremotos, de magnitude 7,2 e 7,5, que atingiram a Venezuela, subiu para ao menos 188 na tarde desta quinta-feira (25). O novo balanço foi divulgado pelo presidente da Assembleia Nacional da Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, irmão da líder interina Delcy Rodríguez.
